A campaign is aiming to propel a cultural melody to the Christmas number one spot. The project hopes to provide aid to communities in Gaza while also showcasing Palestinian artistic heritage.

Renowned figure Brian Eno, who contributes to the track, stated that the song titled Lullaby represents a opportunity to stand with Palestinians this festive season. He noted the potential for an surprise number one.

“It would be incredible if that happened, yes,” he said. “I’m not gonna be completely disheartened if it doesn't manage to, festive releases are a thing unto themselves.”

Defiant Message of Freedom and Dignity

Palestinian singer Nai Barghouti, who performs on the adaptation of a cultural piece called Yamma Mwel El Hawa, explained the track's powerful central theme.

The diverse array of musicians appearing on Lullaby encompasses a group of prominent voices from the scene. All were part of the benefit event, which reportedly raised a considerable total for humanitarian aid.

Final Touches and Availability

Lullaby was brought to life by a trio of talented individuals. The track showcases a combination of the traditional Arabic lyrics with freshly written English words.

The team running the initiative have stated that their aim is to generate maximum funds for a specific fund. These donations will be channeled to projects in Palestine through an non-profit partner.

“We don’t have a fixed goal,” a spokesperson commented. “We’ll go for the maximum achievable. Of course, the higher the total, the greater the impact. All proceeds are directed out to Gaza.”

The reality in the region was described as its widespread damage, with a huge proportion of property described as destroyed or damaged.

“In that context, a handful of millions doesn’t make an enormous impact. But I think what truly matters is first of all making this cause better known and showing that another narrative exists.”
