The Ideal Pokémon Legends: Z-A Super Form Based on the Astrological Sign

This comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited immense enthusiasm across the fandom. Starting with the gradual reveal of fresh additions ahead of the game's release, to trainers developing strong views on the entire lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for enthusiasts to look forward to.

With numerous of the Super Forms boasting unique designs that emphasize their personalities, one idea came to mind: What's the best way to connect this with zodiac signs? The following is based on a mix of vibes, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.

The Ram – Super Camerupt

Honestly, Houndoom was almost selected for Aries, as they are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that evoke the greatest apprehension. But, a Super Houndoom comes across as always furious, which doesn't match the Aries vibe, renowned for being playful, light-hearted, and impulsive. That's why the Ram much more similar to Super Camerupt, which solely spews lava when angered. Stay on the good side of either and enjoy a powerful partner; if you cross them, be ready to get burned.

The Bull – Mega Heracross

Much like a loyal Taurus, the reliable Heracross species, whether in its regular and Mega form, has assisted many players in Legends: Z-A. While trustworthy, each the Pokémon and a Taurus are still Fighting types, and – whether it's their companion or a firm belief – will stand up for their position unwaveringly. The thing about Mega Heracross that reminds me most of my Bull-sign companions, however, is its unabashed love of treats. Several past Pokédex entries note their craving for sweet tree sap and how it uses its horn to hoard it everything, which is true Taurus energy.

The Twins – Super Medicham

Look at this absolute royalty. You cannot tell me this creature is not the life of any gathering, offering an endless fountain of gossip to anyone who wants to listen. Much like an captivating, gregarious Gemini, it's incredibly simple to imagine Super Medicham mesmerizing an whole Wild Zone with their stories. Medicham’s Pokédex entry also states its capacity to predict an enemy’s next moves, which sounds quite like a people-smart Twins.

The Crab – Mega Manectric

Cancer is widely regarded as the most emotional sign of the zodiac, a intense symbol known for often getting absorbed in their feelings. Per the Pokédex, Mega Evolution charges the Pokémon with a “huge quantity of electricity, but it's excessive for this Pokémon to completely control,” which seems a lot like a typical Cancer emotional outburst. This Pokémon is also known for its capability to create a storm cloud over its own head – and if there’s a single trait a Cancer is going to do, it’s rain on their own parade.

The Lion – Super Starmie

Oh, did you assume I was planning to pick the lion Pokémon for the king of the stars? Aside from the reality that it would be far too obvious, The Lion is clearly Mega Starmie, the diva whose legs just went viral for being too fabulous (or horrifying, based on your taste). Players couldn’t look away from the purple starfish, and that’s exactly the same energy a Leo offers to the table. This Pokémon is also said to be broadcasting signals from its red core out into space, and it’s typical of a Lion to be staging a performance, even if for aliens.

The Maiden – Super Victreebel

The always-ready and constantly-worried Maiden is ideally represented in Mega Victreebel, the Super Form with perpetual acid reflux. The sign famous for being charmingly critical is clearly reflected throughout this Pokémon’s entire lineage, from a perpetually surprised expression like a Virgo when you inform them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its upside-down face that’s similar to the emoji a Virgo posts to the group chat when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of making a strategy.

Libra – Super Audino

Look at this gentle, sensitive creature, who employs the sensors on its auditory organs to tell how people are feeling by their pulse. Always compassionate – sometimes to a detriment – and trying to maintain the harmony, there are numerous Libras who would probably appreciate Super Audino's abilities. Though, let’s be honest, it would likely just cause them to worry even more about everyone else.

Scorpio – Super Banette

This Ghost-type is a creature with a unexpectedly sad origin: Discarded as a doll, it became consciousness through sheer hatred and swore revenge on its former owner. According to the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That sounds precisely like many discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpion friends. A Scorpion loves cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the ideal pair with Super Banette.

The Archer – Mega Hawlucha

Both Super Hawlucha and Sagittarians are always putting on a performance. As a Sagittarius personally, the number of times I’ve called myself some version of a “silly small jester” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “poses to display its strength.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Super Form, making Super Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius counterpart I can think of.

The Goat – Mega Absol

Did you know that a Super Absol has the power to foresee calamities in advance? That gives the identical vibe as a Goat, who often consistently believe they’re right. Interestingly, much like a visionary Mega Absol, they often are. It’s also the very initial Mega Evolution that players meet in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to join the beginning of the Mega trend.

The Water Bearer – Super Chandelure

Aloof element Water Bearer is arguably the non-flame sign that is closest to a fire sign – its sister sign is Leo, and there are numerous memes about the Archer and Aquarius being chaotic partners in crime. Super Chandelure's double Ghost/Fire typing matches seamlessly with this, and the Super Form's overall intimidating aura is also very Water Bearer. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Super Form's Pokédex entry says it “absorbs hatred and converts it into power.” If that doesn’t perfectly {encaps
